Sources
Where every number comes from
Space Radar reads 33 feeds from 16 public sources. A source is a publisher; a feed is one address of theirs that is read. Each row below is a feed, a row of the registry this page is built from (registry/sources.yaml): the licence is the publisher's terms as the project recorded them, and the date is the day they were first written into CREDITS.md.
The sources: CelesTrak (6 feeds), Open Notify (1 feed), The Space Devs (5 feeds), NASA JPL (4 feeds), NASA Exoplanet Archive (1 feed), NASA Deep Space Network (1 feed), NOAA SWPC (4 feeds), NASA EONET (2 feeds), NASA DONKI (1 feed), NASA SDO (1 feed), NASA GIBS (1 feed), NOAA nowCOAST (1 feed), PacIOOS (1 feed), NOAA CoastWatch (2 feeds), GDACS (1 feed), Wikidata (1 feed).
Where the data comes from
A small job of ours (harvest/ in the repository) runs every hour. It reads each feed below from its publisher and keeps a copy on this site, which is why a visitor whose address a publisher refuses still sees the satellites. Your browser reads our copy first, and shows it at once. It asks the publisher itself only when our copy is older than the time it promised, or when there is none; a newer answer then replaces it. If the job could not reach a publisher, we go on showing the last good copy from it, with its age, until a newer one arrives: a failed read never replaces good data with an error. If neither our copy nor the publisher can be reached, the browser shows the copy it kept from your last visit. A few publishers do not let a page on another site read them at all, or their terms say a visitor's browser must not; for those our copy is the only way, and without it the app says it could not look.

"Saved copy last read" is the day this site's harvester last fetched the source, taken from the saved copy's index when the page opens; it is not the day the terms were read. Where a licence says "no licence stated", that is the answer, and the project treats it as no permission to redistribute beyond what the credits say.
Not in use
2 more rows of the registry are switched off: nothing is fetched from them, nothing of theirs is saved or served, and they are counted in neither number above. They stay listed so that the reason stays readable in the registry.

Everything else
The libraries, textures, 3D models, photographs, sounds and fonts, each with its licence, are in CREDITS.md, which a test holds to the registries line by line.
